EDUCATIONAL THEATRE

O’Neill studied Musical Theater and Acting at Marymount Manhattan College from Fall 2017 to Spring 2021. During this time she had the opportunity to train under locally and internationally acclaimed directors, choreographers, and fellow artists. Through her undergrad years, she took part in numerous educational and representational productions in the Bordeaux Box or on regional stages.

Examples of her work and casting include ‘Irina’ in Three Sisters, ‘Cathy’ in The Last Five Years, ‘Emma’ in People, Places, and Things, and ‘Jenna’ in Waitress.

She studied a variety of acting styles including Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Meisner, and American Realism. She developed a particular liking for Holistic Acting and Russian playwrights, two things she continues to explore.

She believes acting is at the core of all performance; and for that reason, will always consider herself an actor first. She has been praised for her ease with both classical and contemporary language, as well as for the emotional depth she brings to her every performance. She is known for her wide range, playing anything from high school mean girl to mentally ill patient to spunky ingenue; and brings to each of them her own sense of self.
