“Little Did They Know” is a coming of age story about the dangers of a rumor spinning a little too far. Lorna is suffering from a mysterious stomach disease, but no one can figure out exactly what’s wrong. As her weight plummets, rumors begin to fly; forcing Lorna to question where the line between concern and coercion really lies. Based on a true story, “Little Did They Know” examines the inescapable labyrinth lies create and the way others will capitalize on them for their own gain. Told in hindsight through diary readings, it is a quirky tale with a message universally relevant to those in middle school or the work force alike.
